This is a supreme bummer for anyone who enjoys good French food at a fair price…or any price. Around September 13th, Robert Tournier is closing the doors to retire after 34 years. Check out his note to fans on the Eater HERE.
You may remember it as the restaurant with the giant mural of a happy french guys (suspiciously resembling Saddam Hussein in a beret) but that was replaced years ago with a bizarre Denver themed collage. Either way, hurry in there if you can find space or you’ll be missing out on the last days of a landmark Denver restaurant. The address is 112 East 8th Ave, Denver, CO 80203.
